Another Word for “improve” on a Resume
“Improved” is fine once, but it tells the reader nothing about how. Use a verb that shows the kind of improvement, then give the number.
Alternatives: increased, enhanced, optimized, upgraded, revitalized.

Use it when a number went up.

Use it when you made something better in quality.

- Start each bullet with a strong verb, then add the result, ideally with a number.
- Match words to the job description where they are true for you, so both recruiters and screening software see the fit.
